PLZ HELP!! Not sure how to hook up digital cable/dvd/vcr to tv and still record tv to vcr?

I have a digital cable box, sony vcr...only composite (Y/W/R) sony DVD/RCVR( 2 component inputs) and sony trinitron tv (2 component/2 composite). How do i need to wire system to record shows on vcr and still have all my features?

    In order to have all the features, you would have to have two cable boxes. One for the TV, and one for the VCR. Otherwise, you could only record what you were watching. There are other ways to do it, but they depend on many variables which I can’t determine from here.
