I got a TV for free - but no user manual. I know it works but I can't figure out how to hook up the external antenna and digital converter box to the cable inputs. This is a different type of set-up than a regular tv, I think, because it is a "Home Theater". BTW the model is an RCA 31" model #F31226ES

If I have a projector with composite and component but not a coax input, can I use a digital converter box by itself to get cable television to play? Is an antenna going to be necessary? Or, is there a better way besides paying monthly for another cable box to get cable on the projector?

Is there any type of TV that will allow me to view channels without any TV service - CABLE, Satellite, DirectTV, etc., AND without purchasing an analog to digital converter box?

I have an old portable DVD player that the DVD player doesn't work anymore... anyway... I want to hook it up to cable at my office. I have been using a digital converter box to get over the air but I want cable. If a pass-through will work I want to go buy one of those. Thanks.
Will a pass through digital converter box show analog cable channels? I have a portable dvd player I want to use as a tv in my office. I can get over the air channels on my dvd player with one that doesn't have the analog pass through.

I love my Zenith DTT901 converter box. Yet. it is frustrating due to atmospheric conditions, automobile traffic. The far away signals don't allways tune in like at night or before dawn. Is there a good INDOOR antenna, or configuration of several antennas with a coax splitter that needs no directional adjusting? I read great reviews about a desk top indoor flat space saver antenna. But, I can't find any in stores or who makes one. Help? Does Zenith make an indoor antenna that works the best with thier converter boxes? And, why aren't manufacturers advertizing or making good long distance antennas? I don't want cable, sattelite, nor do I want to get an outdoor antenna. In the area west or Midway airport in Chicago, at times, I get Indiana, se Wisconsin, and Michigan. But, this is not all of the time. I want this great reception of long distance all of the time. How do I do this?

Do the digital converter boxes plug into the cable jack or just the tv. I dont see how it will work without plugging into a coaxle, but my new house does not have any cable plugs. will those have to be installed?

Pretty soon, i'm gonna have a useless dtv converter box (finally getting comcast). Only one of my tv's will use the comcast-provided box. I was wondering if the dtv box (using it's rf/coax in on the back) can use the comcast connection. I know it's usually for an external antenna, but since it looks like a run of the mill rf/coax in, I got curious about this.
